Share the stage, not the person
The search board works only when updates are brief, factual about the poster’s own experience and respectful of everyone involved.
Useful contributions
- Select the stage that reflects your own experience.
- Add dates or general timing when helpful.
- State what the portal or committee communicated to you without identifying anyone.
- Correct an earlier post with a new update rather than making accusations.
Do not post
- Names or identifying details of applicants, referees or committee members.
- Email addresses, telephone numbers, private messages or interview questions copied from confidential material.
- Claims of misconduct, discrimination, corruption or illegality. Use the institution’s formal reporting process for serious concerns.
- Insults, harassment, speculation about who was hired or information obtained through unauthorized access.
How to read the board
Every entry is an unverified community report. One report means one person selected that stage. Even several reports may be incomplete or mistaken. The institution remains the only authoritative source for the search.
Moderation
AcademeSignal may automatically hold or remove content that appears to contain personal information, abusive language or sensitive allegations. Repeated misuse may result in rate limits or account restrictions.
